Maca is native to the Peruvian central Andes and has been used for centuries in the region for nutrition and stamina. This natural adaptogen is filled with amino acids and minerals essential to help the body function. Our organic dried maca products are gelatinized (cooked) using low temperatures to heat maca under pressure for a few seconds. This process separates the starches making it easier to digest, while preserving all the nutrients, minerals and vitamins.
