This creamy cilantro lime dressing can be added to salads, tacos, wraps, tofu scrambles, bowls and more to instantly intensify the flavour. You can even use it as a dip for sweet potato fries, vegetables, crackers, etc.
And, it’s just so easy to make! You literally just throw everything in a food processor and watch it work its magic.
Some great reasons to use lime juice powder are:
- The fruits were dehydrated at peak ripeness for optimal flavour and nutrient-density.
- No mess is created, it’s easy to use.
- You do not have to worry about your limes going bad before you get the chance to use them! Less food waste to feel guilty about.
I tend to avoid creamy dressings because they are not usually the healthiest topping option. That couldn’t be less true for the creamy cilantro lime dressing, though – every single ingredient in this recipe is beneficial to your body! Not to mention, it’s also entirely suitable for vegan, dairy-free and gluten-free diets.
This recipe uses:
Plant milk and avocado to add creaminess.
Maple Syrup for a hint of natural sweetness.
GMO- Free Lime Juice Powder for zest and freshness, while boosting body immunity.
Cilantro for a tasty, tangy herb (though you can always swap this out for another fresh herb).
Garlic because it is simply a staple in any dressing!
Organic Hemp Hearts to add a nutty flavour, while providing complete proteins.
… You can even add some jalapeño for an extra bit of kick!
The beauty of homemade dressings is (of course) the freshness and having total control of the flavour outcome. You will want to have a jar of this in the fridge at all times. Also, is it just me, or does something about lime with avocado just taste like summer in a bite?
